GPZ is a student-focused GPA tracker for managing semesters, courses, grades, and target academic results.
Why I built it
Every semester, I found myself rebuilding the same spreadsheet to keep track of courses, grades, and academic targets. GPZ started as a way to stop doing that manually. It brings those calculations into one place and helps me see how future grades could affect my overall GPA.

Challenge
Academic projections need to account for credit units, grading scales, completed courses, and future results. The challenge was to make those calculations useful without making course entry complicated.
Action
Academic target calculations
I implemented calculations to estimate the grades and credit requirements needed to reach a target GPA in future semesters.
Local-first mobile architecture
I built the app with Expo and TypeScript, using AsyncStorage for local persistence and React Query for data caching.
Result
GPZ brings academic records and target-GPA planning into one mobile experience. It also gave me a practical way to work through data modelling and the calculation logic behind academic projections.
